    Greek Yogurt Ranch Dip

It’s dinner time you pull out your cutting board and instinctively your kids think it’s a perfect time to tell you they are hungry RIGHT now! In fact, they couldn’t possibly wait for dinner. Crudités is in order.

    Crudités vs. Charcuterie board

I’m sure by now you are familiar with the oh-so-popular Charcuterie boards. Don’t get me wrong I absolutely love a beautifully put-together charcuterie board, BUT no one has time to make dinner and charcuterie board Monday night!

The most basic way to look at the difference between Charcuterie and Crudités is meat vs. veggie. The word Charcuterie refers to cured meat. When setting up a “food board” as soon as you add meat to the board it’s called charcuterie. Crudités is a platter of veggies served with a dip. Yep, that fancy word is referring to those plastic containers you can snag at the grocery store filled with veggies and a tub of ranch dressing in the middle!

    Make-Ahead of Time

Before I start prepping dinner I try and beat Jude to the punch. I make a small plate filled with sliced vegetables and fruits, fill a small dish with dip and let him snack his little heart out. I know he won’t fill up on raw fruits and veggies. It‘s a compromise we can both live with. I make this dip at the beginning of the week. All I have to do most days is simply pull the veggies out and scoop out a side of dip. I alternate making this dip and Lebneh (a soft cheese made out of yogurt)

    Vegetables and Fruits by season

Here are a few ideas for seasonal ideas for your Crudités boards. I add fruit to mine, it seems to help my son accept the idea if I’m serving fruits and vegetables at the
