Anatomy of the perfect Jar Salad

Jar Salads are the perfect way to meal prep AMAZING BIG A-Salads. I love that I can make 10 of these every week and My husband Chris and I can have nourishing lunches everyday.

Servings 5 Days


  • 32 oz Mason Jars


  • Start by adding salad dressing and proteins to the bottom of your jar. I recommend only adding the dressing for the first two or three days and putting your last two or three days of dressing in tiny jars to keep your salads crisp.
  • Your next layer will be fruits.Cheeses will go on to of fruit.
  • Veggies will be in the middle.
  • Lettuce second to last.
  • Nuts on top to keep their crunch.


These are the Mason Jars I use. I found that the standard lids rusted pretty quick, I was excited to find a wide variety reusable lids on amazon! Thats were I found the wood ones that you see here.
